Hastings Roller Hockey (part of the Hastings Skating Club) has been part of the
Hawke’s Bay sporting scene since 1953 and is currently enjoying an exciting rebuild, welcoming a new generation of
players to the sport located at one of the last few open air Skating Rinks in New Zealand.

We are a family-focused club that welcomes skaters of all ages and skill levels. Everyone is encouraged to come along and give rink hockey a go — even those who have never skated before!! 

Although we’re a young and growing group, we’re proud to already include both current and former New Zealand representatives among our members. We host a monthly club day with mixed-age teams, compete nationally at tournaments within NZ and host the annual “Hastings Summer Classic” every February.
